Office / Guidance:
For our first college visit we'll be visiting Western Michigan University on Thursday, September 28th. If you're a junior or senior interested in learning about the university or are planning to attend, this is a great opportunity to check it out. The event is free but permission slips are required and are available in the guidance office.
Aquinas College will be visiting Wayland on Sept. 19 at 7:40. If you are interested in attending, please sign up in the guidance office.
Andrews University is hosting its 5th annual ArtFEST and SciFEST September 21-23! Attendees are eligible for a $2,000 per year scholarship! To register or get more info go to andrews.edu/artfest or andrews.edu/scifest.

There will be SADD meetings every Tuesday morning at 7:15 and every Thursday at 2:35 in Heisenfeldt’s room B203. WE will meet twice a week until Hallowed Halls.

Come to the information meeting for Michigan Youth in Government on Tuesday September 19th immediately after school in Ms. Knauf's Room, B206.

The Wayland varsity dance team tryouts will be held September 18 19 and 20 from 5 to 7 PM in the dance room in the fine arts Center. Boys Cross Country finished in 39th place @ the MSU Spartan Invite
The girls varsity cross country team placed 8th out of 44 teams registered in the Michigan State University Spartans Playmaker Invitational. Medalists were Maggie Whitney in 16th place and Riley Cronkright in 23rd. Runner a personal best time was Naomi Oosterhouse.
The girls cross country junior varsity team was led by Payton Sidebotham, followed by Corinna Courser. Running a personal best time was Megan Rose.
The girls will begin their OK Gold league meets on Wednesday at Gainey field.
